The 592-EECC relay is an NEMA electronic overload relay with a selectable trip class of 10, 15, 20, or 30. It also features auto-manual or manual resetting and it has 1 Normally Closed (NC) and 1 Normally Open (NO) contact configuration. This unit is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the Bulletin 592 Overload Relay series and the E1 Plus Solid-State Overload Relay product line. The overload current adjustment range for the Allen-Bradley 592-EECC Overload Relay ranges from 1 to 5 Amps. This device is intended for mounting to the NEMA size 0 to 2 contactors in the Bulletin 500 contactors product line. The general specifications of the 592 and E1 Plus Electronic Overload Relays include a current range of 0.1 to 90 Amps and these devices are available as 3-phase and single-phase units. They are also self-powered. These relays have phase loss protection and a wide adjustment range with a ratio of 5:1.

The Allen-Bradley 592-EECC Electronic Overload Relay and the whole 592 series and E1 Plus product line of electronic overload relays support the insert-molded types of power connections. They have low energy consumption levels of 150 milliwatts. Other notable specifications and features include visible trip indication and long-term reliable and accurate performance. These overload relays feature current measurement-based protection that is achieved by measuring the motor current directly. This type of current measurement is more accurate than other kinds and it provides advanced levels of protection. The Allen-Bradley 592 and E1 Plus Overload Relays feature an electronic design which allows thermal modeling to be electronically performed by using precision solid-state components. An application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) is built into each E1 Plus overload relay, including the 592-EECC Electronic Overload Relay.
